The testers of stereo, stereo play, ear-in and professional audio cannot all be wrong when they raise the KANN to the throne of hi-res players. Massive power with crystal clear sound, plenty of storage space, separate line-out circuits and the usual A&K advantages. At the price you simply don't get a more complete and better sounding player. If you want the new AK user interface, cloud streaming and an HD display, you are more likely to use SA700, Kann Cube, SP1000M or SE100.
